OPEN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS' KNOWLEDGE LEVEL TOWARDS ISLAMIC FINANCIAL PRODUCTS

For more than 25 years, the development of Islamic banks in Indonesia has not fully met the needs of the community for Islamic financial products. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of knowledge of open university students about Islamic financial products. The method used was a survey by distributing online questionnaires to students from various study programs. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents had sufficient knowledge in this category, although they had not shown a deep or applicable understanding. Therefore, strengthening Islamic financial literacy, especially in the academic environment, is very necessary to improve the understanding of the younger generation about Islamic-based financial products.
